I figured that my first non-Kid Color related post should not only be about a Chicago artist, but one of my best friends.
My good friend/roommate Mike Perry (El Topo) and Harry Hart just recently formed the electro/fidget house fusion duo Black Holes.
They first made they appearance on the blogosphere by having their remix of Chicago act Hollywood Holt’s “Caked Up” posted by DJ/label owner Franki Chan on his own iheartcomix blog. Check out the post here.
They’ve also been praised by other well known blogs like Hot Biscuits, D-Squared, and Trash Bag Kids.
Anyway, I know both Harry and Mike personally, and they definitely know their shit. They’re with out a doubt going to be gigging everywhere soon, so you should definitely check them out now.
I don’t spin too much fidget house, but I know what I like. And I definitely like Black Holes.

Your article on Holy Ghost! is pretty rad. One of the few artists I go crazy for on the dance floor.
